Last lesson I showed my music video to the rest of my media class, this was a very good way of getting constructive and also positive feedback. I was able to learn a lot more about my music video and what I could add to my video to make the theme stand out more.
Feedback:
Overall - a range of different locations, actors and scenes with the potential to convey a theme clearly and convincingly. Evidence of adventurous production and varied editing techniques to achieve a range of effects.
Q - Was this the most powerful opening you could have chosen for your video to really grab the viewer?
Try hooking the viewer with fast edits or a more dramatic start or symbolic image.
Q - Is the theme (communication) coming across as clearly as it could from the start and being reinforced throughout? How could you achieve this? Try overlaying text? Establish the narrative early regarding communication problems.
Q - Do you have any close ups of the braille?
Could try using the sign language section for every chorus, like a refrain?
Some sections could be shorter / edited more quickly
Try linking the ideas together by using a short montage of all the sections as your opening sequence?
