First draft of Advertisment

The advertisment is one of the most important parts of creating a music video because it is the main product that attracts peoples interest in to buying the album and also listening and watching the music video.
Although my music video is shot in black and white to explore my narrative and theme more, the begining section is filmed in colour to attract the audience in to wanting to find out what is going to happen and what the music video is about, this is one of the main reasons I have chosen to shoot and display my advertisement in colour because it will attract the public.
The colour themes I have chosen to encorparate in to my advertisement is red because first of all it is very bright and eyecatching to it will stand out to the audience, which is something I want because I want people to be inticed in to watch and buy my digipack. The second reason to why I have chosen to use red as my main colour theme is because red explores a variety of communication. Love which I have used in my 2nd scene of a couple flirting together. It also explores anger which is used whilst the girl is getting frustrated and angry when she is on the computer and lastly death/blood when the girl commits suicide at the very end. I like the way my colour scheme is an indirect way of manipulating the audience in to what is going to happen, which relates in with the Marxist theory of manipulating the audience. I have manipulated the audience in to what is going to happen through exploring the theme of communication.
