Advertisement

I have chosen to create a collage for my advertisement of a variety of fun images of my actor to reflect communication of 'fun', my music video has a very strong, deep narrative and I didn't want to reflect that in my advertisement as I didn’t want to scare my audience into not wanting to watch/listen to my music video, so for that reason I chose to contrast it. I decided to put ***** "Best album of the year so far, it's a must buy " NME in my advertisement as I feel my audience would be better persuaded to view my video as a worldwide number one music magazine says it's good, it must be. Technology is a huge part of communication, I noticed that throughout my research it was hard to find hard copies of advertisements, everything is most often than not advertised on line, therefore i decided to create a twitter account for my actor with also a joint hash tag, this means that it will be more accessible for Luke's follows to contact him. I also decided to create a Facebook page for him too, as Luke will be able to post things he has been doing and stay in contact with his fans on a broader scale.
You will also notice that I stuck with my colour theme; I personally feel that the colours red and black contrast each other so much and reflect my music video and digi pack into one. The Red reinforces the fun communication of the digipack and advertisement and the black colouring reinforces the dark narrative of bullying and death through my music video.
